FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SeQent Announces the Expansion of TeamCALL to Include Gateways for ServiceNow and OPC London, ON – October 4, 2016 - SeQent, the leading provider of innovative Real‑Time Wireless Alarm & Event Notification and ANDON-Industrial Digital Signage solutions is announcing that they have expanded their TeamCALL product line to include interfaces for ServiceNow and OPC. TeamCALL adds an automated team member dispatch and scheduling component to the FirstPAGE family of products. TeamCALL Gateway for ServiceNow is an application that provides an interface to monitor ServiceNow incidents and based on user-defined criteria auto-assign and dispatches incidents to team members capable of servicing the incident. Allocated team member information is automatically added to the incident to ensure ServiceNow users are aware of the current status of the incident and the assigned individual who is servicing the issue. TeamCALL Gateway for OPC provides the ability to gather data from one or more OPC DA or OPC HDA compliant servers and dispatches incidents to team members capable of servicing the incident or request. TeamCALL Gateway for OPC can be used as an input for a 3-stage call button interface where a call or request is made, once the member arrives he pushes the button a 2nd time to acknowledge attendance and once the work has been completed the button is pressed a 3rd time. The addition of these two new Gateways to the TeamCALL product line significantly expands this offering. SeQent Announces the Availability of its NEW Wi-Fi Messenger Solution

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SeQent Announces the Availability of its NEW Wi-Fi Messenger Solution London, ON – March 16, 2015 - SeQent the leading provider of innovative Real‑Time Wireless Alarm & Event Notification and ANDON-Industrial Digital Signage solutions is announcing the BETA release of the Wi-Fi Messenger family of products. This product addresses a need in the marketplace for a reliable, text messaging solution based on Wi-Fi infrastructure and commodity Android, IOS and Windows smartphones, with no reliance on the internet, cloud or carrier coverage. Wi-Fi Messenger (WFM) is a self-contained text messaging system consisting of a software server providing a standard IETF SNPP input for message transactions, and handset applications for message delivery and management. With completely autonomous operation, handsets connected to the facility’s Wi-Fi infrastructure receive messages without a public carrier network. One (1) Wi-Fi Messenger Server can accept inputs from any number of SNPP clients simultaneously and host 2500 handsets. When paired with a FirstPAGE Server, the Wi-Fi Messenger (WFM) solution can automatically forward messages sent to devices not currently registered with the local Wi-Fi to a public carrier’s SMS network or any destination FirstPAGE Server supports. This automatic re-routing occurs when the device leaves the Wi-Fi network and is automatically disabled when the device returns to Wi-Fi connectivity. For devices with VPN access to the facility network, WFM delivery can occur over carrier data networks as well. “SeQent’s customers, having experienced many issues with the use of carrier hosted mobile phones for automated messaging, were looking for a self-contained solution eliminating the reliance on carrier coverage or Internet connectivity. This solution needed to be internally hosted and not rely on any outside infrastructure for message delivery. Wi-Fi Messenger provides this solution using internal Wi-Fi access points, a local server and traditional smartphones.” Says Scott Burns, SeQent’s Chief Technology Officer. Several large manufacturers, including a domestic automotive OEM, have committed to piloting this BETA solution in a plant that is already using the FirstPAGE and FirstPAGE Alarm Manager family of products. The stated objective is to expand upon the data interoperability with their Motorola MOTOTRBO™ digital two-way radio system and a smartphone (i.e., the NEW Motorola LEX L10 device). About SeQent SeQent is a London, ON Canada based company and an early pioneer and leading software provider in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) space.
