SeQent’s ODBC Alarm Notification Software Integration is part of the many interoperability capabilities that FirstPAGE Alarm Manager offers. With centralized and remote management, Alarm Manager provides an innovative, user-friendly, and infinitely scalable Industrial Alarm Notification Software Platform that is highly customizable and easy to install.
FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Gateway for ODBC collects data from one or more ODBC compliant database servers by executing select statements or executing stored procedures. This ODBC Alarm Notification Software Integration allows business rule definition against the collected data and sends alarms to FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Server for processing. Alarm information such as name, trigger test, value, and various obtained values from ODBC data sources are all available for alarm message composition.
Supporting ODBC enabled databases such as SQLServer, Oracle, Progress and SAP-Sybase, FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Gateway for ODBC can monitor any ODBC compliant database for data exceptions.
